Swifts are finding it increasingly difficult to locate suitable nesting sites in buildings that no longer have any holes in them. By installing one (or more) of these boxes under eaves at least 5 metres above ground level will make a significant contribution to reversing the decline in the UK's Swift population. Ideal for office blocks and most urban and inner-city locations. The entrance hole can be cut in the front (as shown) or in the base, which discourages other species from using the box.
